The interviewers was all giddy talking about how much of an inspiration she is since she’s openly gay, but M.A. kept the answers nonchalant. She did offer up more when the subject came to people focusing more on her music (“A lot of people pay attention to them bars…That’s what’s happening.”), than her sexuality.
“You gon’ get people who criticize and do those things, but that’s part of the game,” she said. “That’s part of the game man.”
