Zoe Saldana thinks Donald Trump won the presidency because Hollywood and other high-profile types bullied him. Hear her out though.
In an interview with AFP News Agency, the actress gave her theory on why and how Trump, a man with no public office experience and even less class, managed to pull off one of the greatest tricks we’ve ever seen.
She says:
“We got cocky and became arrogant and we also became bullies. We were trying to single out a man for all these things he was doing wrong… and that created empathy in a big group of people in America that felt bad for him and that are believing in his promises.”
Saldana‘s opinion represents a select few who are attempting to look past the outrageous things Trump has said and done, and empathize with the down-trodden folks who felt neglected by the Democrats and Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Saldana’s invite to the picnic has been on standby ever since she took on the role of Nina Simone. Her attempting to find reason behind a Trump victory just might get it revoked once and for all.
