When LeBron James posted a video of his fresh new baldy (something that some say should’ve been done years ago) he made it a point to rap along Tee Grizzley’s “First Day Out” to signify the beginning of the next chapter in his life.

While the single had already been bubbling its way to the top of the Billboard charts, the post from the King of Akron has apparently helped boost the Grizzly’s breakout single to platinum status.

The Detroit rapper told TMZ that his record sales “tripled” thanks to LeBron’s co-signing the cut and showed the cameraman he now has walking around with money in the $80,000 range.

Seems like the King got that Midas touch for real.
