Venus Williams has partially addressed the June 9 car crash she was involved in that left one man dead from his injuries. After her first-round victory at Wimbledon, the veteran tennis star attempted to answer a reporter’s inquiry before breaking down in tears and leaving the podium.
Late last month, police in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida found Williams at fault for running a red light accidentally and causing the crash. There was no criminal investigation launched, although the family of 78-year-old Jerome Barson is putting together a case to launch a civil suit.
