New Wu-Tang Clan news is always good news around these parts. Besides dropping a new single, “People Say,” featuring Redman, the WTC will be dropping a new album in October.

Today (Aug. 25), Entertainment One (eOne) and RZA announced the forthcoming release of Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues, on October 13 via 36 Chambers ALC.

While RZA will serve as executive producer, the production will be handled by DJ Mathematics.

“For years, Math has had the idea of putting together a body of music using modern and legendary equipment such as ASR10 with vocal performances by WuTang Clan members and other prominent MCs,” said The Abbot via a press statement. “With The Saga Continues he’s created a masterpiece. We at 36 Chambers ALC are honored to work with Mathematics to put out a great piece of art.”

Reportedly there will be 10 songs with appearances from RZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and ODB, as well as Redman and Sean Price among others.

36 Chambers ALC was founded by RZA and Mustafa Shaikh and is being touted as “lifestyle company” that will house their ventures in not only music but publishing, art and fashion as well (a vegan accessories line, The Pineapple Collection, is coming soon).
