The Brodie just secured a sizeable bag. Reports say Russell Westbrook signed a 10-year contract extension with Jordan Brand.
According to ESPN, Westbrook signed the “most lucrative total endorsement deal for a Jordan athlete to date.”
Part of the deal includes a proper signature shoe. Currently, the high flying guard is the face of Michael Jordan’s signature. The latest is the Air Jordan II inspired Air Jordan XXXII.
Last season, Westbrook average a triple double. Again, he averaged a triple double.
Westbrook signed his initial 5-year deal in 2013. So Jordan Brand made sure to lock the NBA MVP in, with reportedly his new endorsement salary boost being retroactively applied to the 2016-2017 season.
Salute.
