Rick Pitino has been fired as the head of the University of Louisville’s Men’s Basketball team. The coaching great has no doubt been booted after the school’s involvement in an FBI investigation the led to the arrest of four college coaches and adidas exec, among others, for bribery.
As previously reported, the coaches were arrested for allegedly funneling NBA prospects to financial advisors and agents. The adidas exec was supposedly involved in securing a six-figure payment to a top recruit to secure a commitment to Louisville.
It goes without saying that basketball Twitter is sharing all their opinions, and slander.
