Cardi B and Rapsody are two women who occupy opposite ends of the Hip-Hop spectrum but equally have amassed deserved acclaim for the work they’ve put in with their respective careers. The “Bodak Yellow” star tweeted over the weekend that she was recently introduced to Rapsody’s music, with the North Carolina wordsmith responding in kind.

My road manager put me on to some Rapsody last night and i really really like it !!!! It hit the Bardi in me !!” Cardi B wrote on Saturday (Dec. 2).

Soon after, Rap returned the love in her own tweet.

“Mad love, sis! I appreciate you and celebrate you! Love your glow!” Rapsody wrote.

What makes this online union even sweeter is that both women are up for Grammy Awards with Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance, and Rapsody nominated for Best Rap Song for “Sassy” and Best Rap Album for her solo record, Laila’s Wisdom.

Rapsody is just the fifth woman rapper to be up for a Best Rap Album award since the category was created in 1996.
