Florida police were shocked this week after arresting a man and discovering over $1,000 in cash tied to his scrotum.

22-year-old Steven Black is in police custody after authorities say he and his accomplices tried to leave a bank after attempting to cash a fraudulent check using a stolen driver’s license.

According to police and secret service agents who were called to assist in the arrest, Black, Tara Funk, Brandon Taylor, Jearvon Jackson and Kevin Robinson were part of a nationwide identity theft ring.

Police say they were called to a Bank Of America after Funk attempted to cash a check in the institution’s drive-thru.

Tellers say they noticed the fraudulent information and attempted to hold her till police came but Funk drove away.

Police pursued the vehicle leading to a police chase that ended with the getaway vehicle hitting a light post.

Two males—Steven Black, and another unidentified man, fled on foot before being chased down by officers.

When police searched them they found $1,540 in cash tied to Black’s scrotum with a shoe lace.

All five suspects have been booked into jail on fraud related charges.
