An African kingdom is honoring Civil Rights pioneer Jesse Jackson by making him into royalty. Jackson was crowned Prince of the Agni people during a three day visit he took to the Ivory Coast. King Amon N’Douffou V decided to deem Jackson the newest member of the royal family after the death of their former prince, Michael Jackson.

Michael was given the honor after visiting in 1992. King Douffou requested that Michael’s body be sent back to be buried in the kingdom near the tree where he was crowned but was denied. Jackson is set to be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California on August 29, what would have been his 51st birthday.
