Anti-Violence Speaker Arrested for Hitting Chicago-Area Woman, Says Report

Warren Jackson is a motivational speaker against violence in the Chicago area.

His occupation didn’t stop him however from allegedly beating on a woman in a parked car inside of a shopping center parking lot on January 21st.

According to police a shopper saw Jackson put a toddler in the front passenger seat of a car before he turned around from the driver’s seat and punched a woman in the back seat.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the 40-year-old claimed he was arguing with the woman but did not hit her even though she was checked in the hospital with multiple bruises.

Jackson’s organization,  “We Stop The Killings” is under investigation by the Attorney General’s office for illegally reinstating a long-dissolved charity and soliciting donations from the public, falsely claiming the funds would help prevent youth violence in the Chicago area.

Apparently, “stopping the beatings” doesn’t fall under his organization’s umbrella and the man described on the company’s site as “a force for positive change and empowerment” takes the words “force” and “empowerment” a little too literally.
