Repost from @djdnice. My brother D and i were born in Harlem hospital, growing up with the road map to success. My stories the other night were cool, but listening to your story of your life confirms my curiosity…We all go thru pretty much the struggles and you never know who going thru the same thing you’re going thru. “LOOK AT US NOW!” God is so good and that’s an understatement! I’m looking forward to make history together in Chicago next weekend, and many more coming soon. My brother from another mother for life!!! Always peace & brotherly love!! #legacy #legends #DjDnice #teddyriley
Though he was born and raised in Harlem, Teddy says his parents used to send him to live in the South for the summer for 15 years straight. Though he started messing with instruments since he was 3-years-old, he say the South helped shape his views on music.
