Creed II is primed to be one of the biggest films of the year. The musical accompaniment is shaping up nicely too.

As Hot New Hip Hop reports, super producer Mike Will Made-It is curating the original soundtrack for the much-awaited sequel. On November 7 he took to social media to confirm that the one and only Kendrick Lamar will contribute to the project. “WHO SHOULD BE ON THE SONG WITH KENDRICK THO? IM EXCITED FOR YALL TO HEAR WHAT WE CAN SAFELY CALL THE(!!) COLLABORATIVE PROJECT OF THE YEAR, OR MAYBE OF OUR GENERATION NO 🧢. “ CREED II : THE ALBUM….” ME & DOT HUMBLY ONLY DO SPECIAL SHIT TOO BTW, ITS AN OATH WE GOT, & HE JUST CONFIRMED HIMSELF ON THIS MF … DAMN! 🤦🏽‍♂️😤 🤯🥊💨‼️”

Kung-Fu Kenny joins an already impressive roster of talent for Creed II: The Album. Other official guest features include Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Kodak Black, Eminem and most recently Pharrell Williams. Lamar has expanded his reach this year with a high profile acting role on Power and executive producer role on the wildly successful Black Panther (Original Score).

Let’s see if Mike Will Made-It crafted a classic. Creed II will be in theaters 11/21.
