Snoop says he’s the one who convinced Suge Knight to get Tupac out of jail and sign him to Death Row after hearing all the rumors of how Tupac was getting treated in jail. Once he got there he had Daz give him all the beats he was going to lace Snoop with and Dre hand over the “California Love” song that was poised to be on Dre’s next album. “I’m a team player so I had no problem bringing with him and letting him be a part of our thing because he was gonna give us what we was missing.”
