Although it’s been nearly ten years since she’s released an album, rapper Eve is eying a September release date for her new project.
As previously reported, Eve was in Jamaica for the country’s Excellence in Music and Entertainment Awards where she was honored at The East Lawn of the historical Devon House site in Kingston, Jamaica.
While in town for the awards Eve sat down with The Jamaica Observer for an interview alongside Lady Saw, whom she performed with at the awards ceremony.
The ladies spoke on a number of topics including their taste in men and plans for the future.
Eve also revealed that she’s hoping to secure a release date for her upcoming album reportedly titled Lip Lock.
She tells The Observer,
“I’m also working on my new album that will come out hopefully in September, and I’m really excited about that.“
Eve publicly announced that she left Interscope Records in January of 2010.
