Flavor Flav Shutting Down Fried Chicken Restaurant

After just three months of business, Flavor Flav is putting a stop to his Flavor Flav’s Chicken restaurant in Clinton, Iowa.

According to TMZ, yesterday Flav pulled the license from the chicken joint is due the mismanagement of the restaurant by his business partner Nick Cimino, saying, “I had a licensing agreement with Nick Cimino and that’s all we had. It was his business to run from there and the business was not run right.”

Employees claimed their paychecks were bouncing, also Flav himself found problems with the food that didn’t sit well with the 52-year-old Public Enemy rapper.

“Let me be straight up with you, I went up inside there on April 2 and I found potato salad that expired on February 28,” he said. “And it’s then when I realized I can’t do business with this man and I really hope no one ate those potatoes.”

The former VH1 reality TV star doesn’t plan to leave the restaurant business completely. He’s planning to open Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor in Las Vegas next month.

I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of Flavor Flav’s shucking and jiving.
