Pill Starring In New Movie

Atlanta rapper Pill is expanding his Maybach Music rap career and delving into the world of acting.

The Pink City emcee recently revealed that he’s been cast in a new film alongside “ATL” actor Evan Ross and Brittany Snow.

Speaking to Billboard, Pill says that he’s playing the role of ‘Rodger’ in a new drama titled “96 Minutes.”

“I play a character by the name of Rodger…I actually got a real role that I auditioned for. I’m always working. I make sure I’m always doing something to elevate myself or prepare myself for superstardom.”

The film, which was shown at this year’s South By Southwest Festival, also stars Christian Serratos as “Lena” and J. Michael Trautmann as “Kevin.”

Inspired by true events, it tells the story of “Dre” [Evan Ross] who ‘crashes’ into the lives of three other young people at a pivotal moment.

The major release date for the project is still unknown.
