Nigerian Police Rescue Pregnant Teenage Girls From “Baby Factory”
Police in Nigeria raided a house where allegedly teenaged girls were forced to have babies that were then sold to the black market.
According to world news reports by The Telegraph, 32 teen girls were recused.
“We stormed the premises of the Cross Foundation in Aba three days ago following a report that pregnant girls aged between 15 and 17 are being made to make babies for the proprietor,” said Nigerian police commissioner Bala Hassan.
“We rescued 32 pregnant girls and arrested the proprietor who is undergoing interrogation over allegations that he normally sells the babies to people who may use them for rituals or other purposes.”
Owners of the “baby factory” are likely to be charged with child abuse and human trafficking.
Cases of child abuse and people trafficking are a common trend in Africa.
Human trafficking is also ranked the third most common crime after economic fraud and drug trafficking in Nigeria.
This is a sad story and statistics.
Like Harold Camping said, the world will end on October 21st.
