Singer Lloyd Upset He Wasn’t Nominated For BET Award

Lloyd is speaking out against BET after noting that he’s never been nominated for a BET award in a single category.

The R&B crooner who performed with a live band during a pre-show of Sunday’s event, took to Twitter soon after to express his frustration.

Obviously not pleased with never receiving a BET award nomination but being invited to perform, Lloyd took to Twitter to say,

“Damn no nomination, not one single nomination. NEVER. No nomination for the kid who had the first R&B #1 with Lil Wayne ever.

Lloyd also noted that he was the first person to get Andre 3000 and Nas on one track, his “You” remix.

By contrast, Chris Brown took home five BET awards last night including Best R&B Male Artist, Best Collaboration, Best Video and the Fandemonium Award.

As previously reported Keyshia Cole had similar sentiments about this year’s nominations and noted that she had never been nominated in a single category by the television network.

Check out Lloyd’s Twitter rant below.

Does he have a point?
