Megan Thee Stallion is currently promoting her debut studio album Good News, which opens with the Tory Lanez diss track “Shots Fired.” Hot Girl Meg’s former bestie caught a few strays in the track, but Kelsey Nicole has returned fire in the form of “Bussin’ Back.”
Taking to Instagram, Kelsey Nicole, who was present when Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion after a heated argument, introduced her new track with a direct message to her ex-buddy.
“Y’all talked y’all sh*t, let my “SHRIMP” ass talk my sh*t too. I was built for this. [N]o weapon formed against me shall prosper #BUSSINBACK out now, link in bio!” Kelsey wrote.
The song takes elements of 2Pac’s infamous diss track “Hit Em Up” while Megan’s “Shots Fired” samples The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who Shot Ya” track. Some of the verses from Kelsey on the minute-and-a-half track are in direct response to Megan referring to Kelsey as a “shrimp” along with making mention of Lanez as well.
