The big story in sports right now is the bad blood that have allegedly brewed between Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett. But is it that bad?

Carmelo Anthony’s day just got worse. The NBA has suspended the Knicks forward for one game without pay for “confronting” Kevin Garnett in Madison Square Garden after Monday night’s (January 7) game against the Boston Celtics.

Carmelo Anthony reacting to Kevin Garnett’s trash talk has opened up a large can of struggle. While rumors, and that’s what they are, swirl that KG saying Melo’s wife, La La Anthony, smelling like a certain cereal is what set him off, now reports are saying the once happy couple is separated.

Well, someone is getting suspended. Footage has been found of Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony heatedly arguing and being restrained from each other after Monday night’s Knicks vs. Celtics game.

Last night, Kevin Garnett won. Thanks to some surely vile trash talk, he helped Carmelo Anthony go  6-26 from the field. Sure the Celtics beat the Knicks 102-96, but the bigger story of the night, and today, has been the alleged cereal slander he sent Melo’s way.

Spike Lee talking about basketball and the New York Knicks will always be entertaining. For the latest spot in the NBA’s BIG campaign, the renowned director stars and directs a commercial called “The King Of New York” that praises NBA great Bernard King.

As New Yorkers try to recover from the devastation leftover by Hurricane Sandy in time for the holiday season, Tyson Chandler and his wife, Kimberly Chandler, are lending a helping hand. The New York Knick’s center and his better half created the organization Rebound 4 Rockaway/Rebound for New York, to aid in relief efforts.

Yesterday, Jordan Brand unveiled the Air Jordan XX8 (28), which is being touted as the most technically advanced Air Jordan yet. In an event space in NYC’s far West side, on hand were Spike Lee, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook and storied designer Tinker Hatfield to debut Michael Jordan’s latest signature shoe. 

The latest celebrity that photographer Terry Richardson has shared photos of is New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony. Richardson shot Melo for V Man magazine and blesses us with more candid pics from the shoot in his studio.
