Still snoozing on Wale‘s Folarin mixtape? The Maybach Music Group rapper provides some incentive to give it a spin by dropping an unofficial video for “The One Eyed Kitten Song,” featuring Travis Porter.

“Bad” took off almost immediately after Wale released his Folarin mixtape. So much so that the sultry cut has become the leading single from the MMG rapper’s forthcoming LP, The Gifted. With Tiara Thomas by his side, the DMV native further promoted the track with an intimate performance on NBC’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Get ready to start seeing and hearing a lot more Wale. The Maybach Music rapper hit Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club this morning and talked about his new album, stepping to NBA commentators and his fear of failure, among plenty of other topics.

As promised, Wale released the video for “Bad” off his Folarin mixtape. The premiere comes hours after the MMG rapper announced the title and release date of his third album, The Gifted.

The secrecy surrounding Wale’s forthcoming album has been unveiled.  A few hours ago, he revealed the project’s title, and release date.

Wale recently sat down with Mina SayWhat of Philly’s Power 99 to discuss his Folarin mixtape, as well as what fans can expect from him in 2013. One thing the MMG rapper revealed was his plan to release two projects before year’s end, one of which will be the Jerry Senfeild-assisted Nothing.

Las Vegas is pretty much always a good backdrop for a music video, which may be why Wale chose the location for his latest music video. In the visual for “Street Runner,” off his Folarin mixtape, the DMV spokesman kicks back in the city of sin.

Wale let’s go of the visual for the outro to his latest mixtape, Folarin, titled “Never Never.”

Wale reps Washington D.C. and the rest of the DMV, but for his latest music video he chose New York City as the backdrop. The rapper headed uptown to Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood to shoot the visual for the Chinx Drugz-assisted “Let A N***a Know” off his Folarin mixtape.

Last night in the downtown section of New York City, Wale performed for a packed crowd at the Bowery Ballroom.

Only days after releasing his latest mixtape, Folarin, Wale is back at it again with some new music called “Heaven In The Afternoon.”
