R.I.P.

Percy Sledge, the crooner behind the 1966 hit record “When A Man Loves A Woman,” died this morning in his Baton Rouge, LA home, according to ABC News. He was 73.

In a case of tragic irony, a man died trying to cross the street to get to a funeral home last Friday  (Sept. 27) night.  Bruce Johnson, 51, was struck by a Jeep Compass while making his way to the Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Dover, Del.  

Simone Battle, of the group G.R.L was found dead in her Los Angeles home Friday morning (Sept. 5), her label confirmed. Battle reportedly committed suicide.
