Eric Adams and the City of New York will support the Universal Hip-Hop Museum in raising $50 million leading up to the opening of the Bronx museum.


We definitely thought Hip-Hop would take it this far. Today (Feb. 22), Netflix shared the first trailer for Roxanne Roxanne, the legendary rapper Roxanne Shante’s biopic. 


A film about 1980’s rapper Roxanne Shantè has been selected to be screened at the Sundance Film Festival.

Just a few weeks after ABC announced it was canceling Uncle Buck (after a single season) the 45-year-old beauty popped up on Roxanne Shanté’s Instagram page and revealed that she’ll be playing the mother of the Hip-Hop legend in the biopic to the Queens rapper life, Roxanne Roxanne.
