The highly anticipated Nate Parker film, The Birth of a Nation, has found a home. Fox Searchlight dropped a record-breaking bid at the Sundance Film Festival Monday (Jan. 25), beating out distribution giants like Netflix.
Michael B. Jordan has come quite a long way since starring in HBO’s The Wire as teenage drug dealer, Wallace. After delivering a star turn in this summer’s Fruitvale Station, Jordan is in talks to star in the upcoming Star Wars film and other big Hollywood productions.
