Hoops commentator Charles Barkley caused a stir on Thursday by openly stating that he wanted a similar role with the LIV Golf series, which has drawn high criticism due to its backing from Saudi Arabia. On Friday, he stated in an interview that he would remain with TNT and Turner Sports.

Craig Sager, the longtime NBA On TNT sideline reporter, has been battling leukemia for much of the past two years and was thought to have defeated the disease. Doctors told Sager that his leukemia is no longer in remission and that he’s been given just months to live.

TNT’s coverage of the NBA playoffs this year will be missing one of its most colorful personalities in sideline reporter Craig Sager. Sager, who is known for his outlandish suits, is battling leukemia and will not cover the playoffs for the network this go round.
