While it’s been an amazing time celebrating the 20th anniversary of Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), November also brings up somber memories for the Wu-Tang Clan as nine years ago Ol’ Dirty Bastard passed away unexpectedly. Thankfully his spirit lives on through a very memorable legacy.
Over the weekend, Stussy released a Yo! MTV Raps-inspired capsule collection featuring 10 iconic photos of MCs from that era. If that wasn’t ill enough, the streetwear brand returns today with a two-part documentary that places a scope on the iconic television series.
Yo! MTV Raps defined a generation and provided a daily platform for Hip-Hop that was devoid at the time. Twenty-five years later, California-based streetwear brand Stussy commemorates the legendary program with a long overdue capsule collection.
