Woman Burns Boyfriend With Scalding Hot Grits; Gets Assualt Charge
Carolyn Brown of Boutte, Louisiana got revenge on her boyfriend after the two had a fight, using her culinary skills to whip up a batch of scalding hot grits, opting to douse the poor gentleman with the food for his troubles.
Deputies in St. Charles Parish were called to Brown's residence after the attack to whisk her boyfriend away to a local medical facility; he suffered second-degree burns on his arms and face.
A police report revealed that the couple got into a argument on November 7th where Brown alleged that her boyfriend told her that he was breaking up with her, only falling asleep minutes later.
Brown, whom is facing a second-degree battery charge, is being held at Nelson Coleman Correctional Facility.
