Soulja Boy Buys Private Jet

Soulja Boy's last album The DeAndre Way may not have done so well last year, but it appears that Soulja Boy still has plenty money to blow.

According to TMZ, the rapper, who turned 21 yesterday, dropped $55 million for a private jet, as a birthday present to himself (swag).

TMZ stated:

The jet cost $35 mil ... but that's just the beginning. We're told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff ... like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.

We're told S.B. is also gutting the in-flight lavatory -- and replacing it with a giant, LUXURIOUS bathroom. Oh, he's also giving the jet a custom paint job ... to include his logo.

So basically Soulja Boy spent $55 million on the jet from Soul Plane?

It was also reported that S.B. spent $300,000 to throw a birthday party for himself in Miami tonight.

      It has nothing to do with race you idiots! I know plenty of people of all color who have wasted lots and lots of money on things that they really don't need. Myself included. At 21, I probably would have done the EXACT same thing if I had his money. The money flowed in and he doesn't realize that the river will soon dry up if he is not careful.

    Probably has a monthly payment plan on this jet, which will get repo in around 8 months. I'm not hating, just doesn't make sense.

    That's a waste of money! If your last album didn't sell that well shouldn't you be using that money for some new mixers, producers and feature artists to help your next album!!

Does that make Donald Trump a fool Hugh Hefner? John Travolta? I dont think so its like buying a tuxedo vs renting one I attend about 15 events each year that require a tuxedo so which do you think is cheaper renting one or buying one buy buy I have 5

    Soulja Boy Tell 'Em: It's your money, you worked for it, and if you don't know what's in my savings then STFU. If you work hard, then play hard. SB wants to be on time at his engagements, and with all that is happening in the "air" these days, it may be a safe move. SB can charter the jet, and make money too. I'm sure he had a reason for making this move, so don't hate, appreciate. You show 'em SB.

    It's his money and if he wants to spend it on a private jet than let him. I mean a private jet could be a good investment, if all else goes south for him, he could go to school to become a private pilot because it takes like two years and he could turn his private jet into a business. There are many rich people out there that fly private. I'm just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. The worst thing that could happen to him financially is that he goes bankrupt, if that happens, he can sign up for a reality show or go on dancing with the stars. If he was able to make millions at such a young age, i'm sure he's smarter than we give him credit for it. Btw i'm not really a fan..the only song of his that i know is kiss me thru the phone.

    I mean, it's his money and he can spend it how he wants. I personally find it sad to see people focusing so much of their energy on status (he's always blinged out to a ridiculous extent.). It's kinda empty. But you don't find that out until you lose it.
