Usain Bolt is the definition of true sportsmanship. The world's fastest man, who hails from the island of Jamaica, took home a gold medal in the men's 100m race Sunday (Aug. 5). Bolt stopped an interview to pay homage to Jamaican-American athlete Sanya Richards-Ross on her gold medal win for coming first place in the women's 400m race.

Fresh off his win, Bolt was being interviewed by a Spanish reporter and asked to cut the live interview so that he could stand and honor Richards-Ross as she received her gold medal, while the Star-Spangled Banner played in the background.

Bolt grabbed his win with a time of 9.63, marking his second consecutive gold medal in the Olympic games. He is expected to return to the 2016 summer games in Rio de Janeiro to take home a third gold medal, but has not revealed whether he will do so.

Hailed as the “cream of the crop” of sprinters, Bolt stands at 6' 5,” and has yet to meet a competitor able to match his size and speed.

The London Olympic games has been a huge ratings grabber for NBC, with many tuning in to watch the likes of swimmer Michael Phelps, gymnast Gabby Douglass, the USA men's basketball team, and more.
