Coming off of the 20th anniversary of his 1992 classic album Whut? Thee Album, Redman takes to Twitter to formally announce that he’s working on a sequel for another one of his highly lauded projects, aptly titled Muddy Waters 2: Even Muddier. This morning, the often underrated, but legendary MC tweeted “We about to start the Redman 20th Year Anniversary Campaign !! Muddy Waters 2 n progress!! Be a part of it!!”

The Brick City MC even included some “artwork,” which further solidifies that this album may actually happen. While there’s no release date as of yet, Redman’s proven track record for creating quality projects (the original Muddy Waters was released on December 19, 1996) should make Hip-Hop fans very excited. Check out the “artwork” below. Not exactly the work of a Photoshop genius, but we’ll take it, for now.
