The Atlanta native participated in the Richard Petty Driving Experience to test his skills. "I always wanted to drive a NASCAR race car on the track, I'm bout to go Ricky Bobby fast,' he says before zipping around the track.
Killing any doubt that he may not know what he's doing, the father of six worked to be allowed on the speedway. "I've been trained by professionals, I watched a seven-and-a-half-minute instructional video."
Tip starts off in the 120 MPH range, before pushing his way up to 150 MPH. He has since taken his need for speed to the Daytona 500, as one of the many celebrities invited to the sporting event, held this weekend. Of course he won't be participating in the actual race, but at least he got to practice living the NASCAR life.
