Kathy Lee Gifford Can't Get Jiggy With Macklemore, Says She Hates "Thrift Shop" [VIDEO]
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis might be moving units with their quadruple platinum selling single, "Thrift Shop," but that doesn't mean all of middle America has caught on.
During the Today show on NBC with Kathy Lee and Hoda, Hoda chose the single off of The Heist as a selection on her iHoda playlist. While Hoda looked to be genuinely enjoying the record, Kathy Lee looked like she was listening to nails on a chalkboard.
"Okay, okay, is there much more," Gifford asked in an obvious annoyed tone. "Okay, I get it. I get it, and I hate it. How do you love it? How do you go from singing Cinderella where there is actual music from Rogers and Hammerstein?"
The soccer mom audience may have just taken a hit, but it doesn't look like Macklemore and Lewis will be sweating it. Their album, The Heist, is creeping up on gold status after riding the success of their "Thrift Shop" single.
If anything, this video is worth the watch for Hoda saying "I got this big a** coat," on early morning television. Check out the video down below.
