Pusha T has been working hard to establish his solo career ahead of his proper debut album, My Name Is My Name. In a recent interview, the Virginia rhymer talked about the possibility of a Clipse reunion, the output of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint and promising a classic with his upcoming set.

Push A Ton was in Charlotte last week and called in to radio station Power 98 after rocking a set with West Coast legend Ice Cube and Down South vet Bun B for the Coors Light “Search For The Coldest” tour. Although My Name Is My Name was slated for a July 16 release date, Push decided to wait it out in a suddenly jam-packed summer of new releases.

“It's not coming out on the 16th [of July]. We're going to push it back a month,” said Pusha. “It's been a lot of music coming out. You got the ‘Ye album, You got the Cole, the Wale. I think Hov's album is even on the 4th (of July).”

Push added, “But at the end of the day, I still stand my ground. That's politics and logistics. My album is the best album of the year.  I think the streets are going to have a classic Hip-Hop album. My Name is My Name is definitely the hardest album that's going to come out this year for sure.”

Pusha T rattled off a long list of producers and collaborators for the project, including Pharrell, Nottz, Swizz Beatz, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar and more. The Wrath Of Caine rapper also mentions having to fight Yeezy for the beat for his latest single, “Who I Am” which features label mates Big Sean and 2 Chainz.
