“This is a screaming fast iPad,” Schiller said, adding that graphics will be 72-times faster than the orginal iPad. “It’s our biggest leap foward in an iPad.”

It will come in silver, white, space gray and black and will start at $499. With cellular capabilities, it will run $629. They will ship Nov. 1. The iPad Mini will be available in the same colors and start at $399, with cellular versions available for $529.
