Charlamagne Da God isn’t one to back down from Kanye West. Yeezy name checked the radio and TV host, as well as Sway Calloway, during a recent Yeezus Tour concert at Penn State University, and The Breakfast Club member has responded in kind.
The issue can be pinpointed to Kanye West’s now infamous visit to Power 105.1. Charlamagne spoke to West very candidly that day, but Yeezy decided to rant about it a few months later.
“If Kanye wants to do radio interviews and he doesn’t want the host to talk, he might as well just do video blogs,” said Charlamagne on The Breakfast Club on Friday, Feb. 14. “I just want him to calm down and not get high blood pressure. And Kim, please go buy Kanye some chocolates or some flowers, some balloons for Valentines. Please, he’s acting like a single bitter b*tch right now. I just want to know where was all that when he was here on the Breakfast Club? How can you respect that?”
