House Party: NYC’s New ’90s Themed Weekly Hip-Hop Event

Webster Hall is getting ready to launch New York City’s new ’90s-themed weekly Hip-Hop event, House Party. Every Thursday from 10 p.m. – 4 a.m., Webster Hall will gather folks from across genres under one giant roof in true house party fashion (á la Kid ‘N Play).

“House Party at Webster Hall is a preservation of NYC’s historical club culture during the cities ever-changing landscape. All of us various entities have come together under the roof of America’s oldest nightclub to make something magical,” explains New York-based filmmaker/DJ Va$htie in a press release, who is in charge of transforming the Marlin Room into her tastemaker bash “1992.”

House Party will feature a vibrant early ’90s atmosphere. At the helm will be Hip-Hop vet producer Just Blaze, alongside New York’s DJ Soul.

“I’m excited for this party,” remarks Just Blaze in a press release. “This city feeds on constant new and evolving energy and I’m honored to spearhead a new movement in New York nightlife.”

What’s more, Just Blaze and DJ Soul will string along a bevy of musical friends, including MTV Iggy host/DJ Jasmine Solano and Melo-X’s “Electric Punnany” party, all of whom will be spinning classic reggae and dancehall from theBalcony Lounge. Expect club, trap and bass hits from Brick Bandits Club Kingpins, DJ Sliink & Dirty South Joe as they takeover the Studio basement.

Admission will be $15 for gentlemen before midnight with RSVP, $25 after, and free for ladies all night. Advance tickets can be purchased HERE.
