The good folks from Montreality caught up with Ab-Soul, who touched Canadian soil twice on his current These Days… tour. During the interview, the Black Lipped Pastor discussed his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar’s “i” single, the last time he cut his hair, who won the Jay Z/Nas beef, and more.
Soul was candid when discussing his TDE brethren’s latest release, which he believes was a brilliant move on the MC’s part. “It’s probably the most positive song that I’ve heard in a long time,” the Carson, Calif. native said. “The song is [saying] ‘I love myself.’ So, if you’re gonna to his show and sing along with him, you’re gonna be telling yourself that you love yourself.”
