A 17-year-old Brooklyn native wishes he could turn back the hands of time, as he was arrested on Sunday (January 18) after police deemed a message on his Facebook to be a threat towards the NYPD.

A police informant spotted a series of alarming posts on Bushwick area resident Osiris Aristy’s Facebook page, including photos of him posing with guns, drugs, and flaunting gang signs.

But here’s the kicker. It’s was placement of gun emojis pointed at police emojis, not words, that struck a core with authorities and sparked the teen’s arrest.

He’s been charged with making terrorist threats, along with weapons and drugs possession, as a .38 caliber Smith and Wesson firearm and over 25 grams of marijuana were found in his home.

Aristy reportedly has a long rap sheet and pleaded guilty to a robbery back in October.

Sad story. Aristy should have listened to Jay Z more often.
