Django Unchained actress Daniele Watts still isn’t admitting that she and her boyfriend, Brian Lucas, are into kinky exhibitionism, but she is being forced to some unwanted publicity, nonetheless.

After she and Lucas pleaded no contest in court disturbing the peace with loudness, a judge is ordering the embattled thespian to apologize to the three police officers she accused of racial profiling when they walked up on the car the couple were in during a September 2014 afternoon. After the pair were mistaken for a prostitute and a John, they were still detained for allegedly having sex out in the open. Their no contest plea eradicated the charge of lewd conduct but they still have to complete 40 hours of community service and keep their noses clean for a full year. If the latter success is achieved, the case will be dismissed and not appear in public records from that point on.

Lou Shapiro, the attorney for both Watts and Lucas, told the Associated Press that Watts’ apologize to the police will come as directed and she “wishes she hadn’t said some of the things she said” to police during the incident. He also expressed that their no contest plea was not an admission of guilt for the lewd conduct charge.
