New York teen Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna, hasn’t decided where she’s going to college, but she has lots of options. The Elmont Memorial High School valedictorian, who has a reported 101.6 GPA (which is measured on a scale to 100), has been accepted into 12 schools, 8 of which are Ivy Leagues.

The list of schools include Harvard University, Brown University, Johns Hopkins, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cornell University, Dartmouth, NYU, Columbia, Princeton, and Yale.

Augusta told school district officials that she’s “elated, but most importantly thankful” for the achievement. As the daughter of Nigerian immigrants, education and hard work were encouraged in the household. Her older brother is a biological engineering major attending his first year at Cornell University. According to her father, Augusta’s school days start at 7 a.m. and ends at 8 p.m.

“My family is so excited,” she said. “Sometimes they get so much more excited than me. They literally scream. When I called my mom and told her she was screaming on the phone!”

She’s not alone in the scholastic accomplishment either. A fellow Nigerian-American Elmont student was accepted into eight ivy leagues last year.

Augusta has until May 1 to make her decision on which college to attend.
