Welp, that was fast. A fan has uploaded gameplay video of the newest New York Knick Derrick Rose getting injured in the latest NBA 2K update.
Let’s hope this doesn’t happen in real life. A fan has uploaded a clip where the video game Rose, in his new Knicks jersey #25, is seen dribbling past half-court, shaking a defender, driving to the lane and and attempting a shot. When he lands though, the infamous “first aid” icon appears and he doesn’t get up.

In case you are unaware, Rose was one of the NBA fastest rising stars when he became the youngest player in league history to win the Most Valuable Player award in 2011. But he has yet to play a full season of basketball since due to a long list of injuries to his knees, elbows, feet, hamstrings and orbital socket.
He has been the butt of many jokes and was even mocked in a Halloween costume worn by Olympian Lolo Jones. But he bounced back to give a solid performance in the 2015 NBA Playoffs. He and his former team the Chicago Bulls missed the playoffs this year however.
