If you were one of the few people who bought a Kim Kardashian Robbery costume for Halloween, consider yourself rare. The costume has been yanked from online retailer Costumish.

As the world is still trying to figure out whether or not to laugh at or cry for Kim Kardashian after getting robbed in Paris earlier this mont, Halloween costume maker Johnathan Weeks saw a grand opportunity to make a quick buck. The founder of Costumish thought it would be a good idea to create a costume depicting Kardashian getting robbed. Of course people went for it and paid money for the “costume.”

TMZ reports:

The public has spoken, and does NOT want to see people dressed up as Kim Kardashian, bound and gagged by armed robbers for Halloween.

Costumeish founder Johnathon Weeks says the backlash was so severe by Tuesday afternoon, it became clear the Parisian Robbery Victim costume wasn’t gonna fly. It’s been yanked from his website.

Weeks says this is the first time they’ve removed a costume from their online store — and there have been plenty of borderline tasteless options in the past, including Cecil the Lion and crack-smoking mayor Rob Ford.

The move won’t ruin Halloween for too many — Weeks says he’ll be fully refunding all SIX people who actually forked over the $69.99.

The six people who paid $70 for a cheap robe, wig, sunglasses, ring and rope should have their sanity checked. Weeks may have done himself a favor though. KK just sued MediaTakeOut for saying that she faked the whole thing.
