Meek Mill got some things off his chest this morning on Philly’s Hot 107.9. By things, we mean a few choice words directed at his haters, including a certain City of Brotherly love MC. That’s right, just when fans thought the beef fizzled, the MMG rapper directed some slick bars at Cassidy barely a minute into his conversation with host Q Deezy.

An abundance of profane language and self-imposed radio edits make it slightly difficult to get a full grasp of what Meek is saying, but with a little imagination you can fill in the blanks.

While the diss certainly opened up conversation, Cassidy was a short topic in the grand scheme of the 35 minute sit down. Meek and Q Deezy discussed a few sunjects, including when Dreamchasers 3 will release, the Rick Ross shooting and his advice to up and coming artists. Meek also briefly revisited the Drake and Chris Brown fight and quieted the Rihanna rumors.

Meek Mill was less compassionate than his MMG cohort Wale when asked about the attempted drive-by on Ricky Rozay. “Man, people get shot at everyday, B. We from Philly. Seriously. People get shot at everyday,” according to the “Amen” rapper, who says Rick Ross is “cool.”

Meek remained similarly tight-lipped about other controversial topics mentioned. He was most friendly while announcing his endorsement deal with Monster Cable Inc. one day removed from news that Swizz Beatz purchased a co-ownership stake in the company.

“Monster has always been a go-to name for music electronics as well as a big part of music culture,” wrote Swizz Beatz. “They built an empire, and my job will be to push the envelope – turn the lights of the castle up really bright and help Monster take its next big step forward.”

Acquiring Meek Mill looks to be phase one of their takeover, which pairs with news that Disturbing Tha Peace co-founder Chaka Zulu will serve as Monster’s Vice President of Entertainment and Sports Marketing.
