Kelly Rowland has been proving that she is anything but a Destiny’s Child afterthought for quite a while now. The R&B diva drops a new song called “Dirty Laundry,” from her forthcoming Talk A Good Game album.
Rowland gets introspective on this cut, singing about watching Beyoncé’s post-Destiny’s Child success, whether or not she would be able to be a viable soloist and some punk dude putting hands on her. And that’s just the first verse. “Dirty Laundry” was written by The-Dream and is pushed by strong piano chords and moody strings.
The “Kisses Down Low” singer’s new album, Talk A Good Game, is due out on June 18. Listen to “Dirty Laundry” below.
