Ciara countered whispers that her time had passed with the Future-assisted “Body Party.” With that song officially in constant rotation, she attempts to reassert her dominance with a new track called “I’m Out.”
This time Ci-Ci stunts on her old man alongside YMCMB’s first lady Nicki Minaj over a high energy beat. The chorus chants “Ladies this your song, so as soon as this come on/ You should get out on the floor, go and get your sexy on/ If you know that you better than the new girl that he on/ Go head and tell him now you gon’ miss me when I’m gone.” Don’t be surprised it that becomes fan favorite, and highly quoted.
Ciara’s self-titled album releases July 9. Aside from Nicki, Future is the only feature on the project. Expect quality production from Mike Will Made It, Rodney Jerkins, The Underdogs, and Soundz. Ciara is available for pre-order on iTunes now.
