Dom Kennedy and Nipsey Hussle‘s separate, but equally unprecedented business endeavors on their last projects (Get Home Safely and Crenshaw) and a bit of proximity drew them together on a few quality collaborations. Hip-Hop Wired had an opportunity to speak with the former about the likelihood of him and Neighborhood Nipsey dropping a collaborative project, the Best Buy deal and more.
“We have a lot of songs,” Dom said. “Me and Nip, we worked a lot these last 18 months together.” The Lemeirt Park rappers says he and his South Central counterpart have about 10 songs in the can.
He continued, “We definitely have enough music to put something together, and it’s definitely something that we talked about. It’s a good 50/50 chance you might see that one day for sure.”
We’re sure that fans of both West Coasters hope this idea will materialize into an audible blessing sooner than later. Hear Dom Kennedy speak more in an exclusive interview with yours truly below.
