Now that J. Cole holds the title of CEO of Dreamville Records, many have high hopes for what the MC has in store for the label. Today, his artist Bas debuts a visual for “Golden Goals” from the Revenge Of The Dreamers mixtape.
The Queens-based rapper spits with vigor in the streets of a snowy New York City — the projects to be exact. The fact that he’s all alone in the treatment makes the scenes that much more captivating. Bas’ rhymes require equal attention. “From the city where n***as turn a penny to a 20/ But when the penny turn, friends turn to enemies/ And semis turn urns into memories,” he raps.
