G. Count has closed the L.E.P. Bogus Boys chapter of his life, and now reps the L.E.P. lifestyle as a solo artist. He returned yesterday with a visual for his street heater, “Dat Ni**a,” featuring fellow Chicago rappers Lil Durk and Lil Herb.
Backed by cohorts from their respective hoods, the trio of wordsmiths trade verses that fall right in line with the gritty brand of rap that Chi-Town’s become infamous for in recent years. Their approach is brash and raw, which makes the track only suitable to be played at ignorantly loud decibels.
