Erykah Badu likes to goof off just like any other human being, despite her celebrity status. While in New York over the weekend, the Texas singer had a little fun with a newscaster during a live broadcast and even tried to kiss the man.
The exchange between Badu and PIX11’s Mario Diaz took place Friday in Manhattan, where the newsman was reporting on actor Shia LeBouf‘s recent struggles in the media. In the background, Badu can be seen clowning it up for the camera unknown to Diaz.
Diaz is a true pro, because never at one point did he break form, even when Badu’s failed attempt at a kiss went awry by way of a mean stiff arm by the reporter.
It wasn’t any beef between Diaz and Badu later, as the pair exchanged friendly banter on Twitter. Diaz is also a very wise man to not accept that kiss, as his wife and baby were just off to the side watching his report according to those tweets.
Also, that hat. That hat won everything that day.
